Aquí está mi definición personal de productividad:
Productividad = valor/tiempo
(la productividad equivale al valor dividido por el tiempo)
Por esta definición, hay dos maneras principales de aumentar la productividad:
1) aumente el valor creado
2) disminuya el tiempo necesario para crear este valor
Puede complicar esta definición mediante la inclusión de otros factores, como la energía y los recursos, pero prefiero la simplicidad del tiempo porque, en la mayoría de los casos, factores como la energía y los recursos son reducibles a tiempo de cualquier manera. El tiempo también hace que sea muy fácil comparar diferentes niveles de productividad, como la producción horaria o diaria.
Aparentemente usted puede hacer algunas ganancias significativas en el lado del tiempo. Impacto

Resistencia

Valor = impacto x resistencia x esencia x volumen
Y así:
Productividad = impacto x resistencia x esencia x volumen/tiempo
Ahora, lo que es interesante aquí es que la mayoría de la literatura sobre la productividad que he leído se centra casi exclusivamente en el volumen y el tiempo. Pero estas son las partes más limitantes de esta ecuación. Sin embargo, también son los más fáciles de escribir.
Creo que los factores a largo plazo más importantes que se deben considerar al optimizar la productividad (ya sea un individuo, una corporación, un país u otra entidad) son el impacto, la resistencia y la esencia. Y lo más importante de estos tres es la esencia.
Por ejemplo, vamos a considerar la productividad de un blogger.
El impacto del valor de un blogger estaría relacionado con los niveles de tráfico de blogs y la influencia general entre sus lectores. ¿Cuántas personas están leyendo el blog y cuánto valor escribe el blogger? Y finalmente, ¿cuál será la esencia del valor de tu vida? ¿Cuál es el corazón de su contribución? ¿Estás aquí para jugar a seguir al seguidor? ¿Está buscando un destino que valga la pena? No puede optimizar su productividad sin la optimización consciente y deliberada de estos factores. La productividad real es mucho más que el volumen/tiempo.
